As a nationally-recognized CISO, Marc Crudgington has transformed global information security processes for a wide range of organizations including Fortune 500 leaders Disney, Boeing, Chevron, Fluor, and 3Com. As the founder of CyberFore Systems and CISO for both privately-held and publicly-traded companies, Marc combines the expertise that he gained through Department of Defense (DoD) global network management for the US Air Force (USAF) with his consulting experience for world-class organizations including KPMG to advise companies across industries including banking, healthcare, chemical, real estate, manufacturing, aerospace, technology, and oil and gas.

In his role as the 1st CISO for publicly traded real estate firm Howard Hughes Holding, Marc strengthened both information security and data privacy processes and systems for this $1.5 billion company. Marc advised the board on cybersecurity best practices and steered cyber strategies aligned with industry best practices. As the 1st CISO of Woodforest National Bank, Marc overhauled the company’s cybersecurity operations, enabling Woodforest to grow from $4.5B to $10B in assets and maintain top FFIEC/OCC rating for 8 consecutive years across 780+ branches. 

Marc previously served as National IT Director (CISO) for multi-billion dollar Advantage Sales & Marketing He was instrumental to the company’s 57% growth in corporate ROI within 3 years, leading IT due diligence of a $1.8 billion equity transaction, managing enterprise-wide integrations, and directing 31 acquisitions. He also served in consulting and engineering roles for Jefferson Wells International, KPMG, ONI/Ciena Corporation, and 3Com with highlights including delivering technical expertise to Fortune 500 clients.

As a widely sought industry expert, Marc has written 2 books (both Amazon #1 new releases and his most recent book is a #1 Amazon best-seller). He has served as a panelist, moderator, and keynote speaker for industry conferences including the Houston Corporate Security Symposium. He is a Forbes Technology Council Member, a CIS Advisory Board Member for numerous universities, and an Advisory Board Member for organizations including FBI InfraGard and 6 VC start-ups.

Marc earned his MBA from top-ranked University of California, Irvine, and has 15+ technical certifications. Marc has certificates from world-class universities including Blockchain in Business Certificate (Columbia Business School), Designing and Building AI Products and Services Certificate (MIT), and NACD CERT Cyber-Risk Oversight Program (Carnegie Mellon).​
