Bio

Nikki Jackson is an Information Security executive who specializes in the risk management and oversight of many facets of security and technology domains including Network and Information Security, Data Privacy, IT Asset Management, Third Party Risk Management, and Incident Response. She is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE). Her 20+ year career extends across technology, security, and internal audit within the Financial Services industry. In her current role, she has responsibility for ensuring compliance with numerous banking regulations, which has led to extensive knowledge in various standards such as NIST, FFIEC, GLBA, and PCI DSS.

As a trusted advisor in the industry, Ms. Jackson participates in several professional organizations such TBA, IIA, ISACA, InfraGard, and FS-ISAC. She is also active on advisory boards and leadership committees including Sam Houston State University, Sentinel One, and ISACA. 

In addition to serving professional organizations, Ms. Jackson is an avid supporter of philanthropic efforts that serve the community. Montgomery County & Houston Food Banks, Northwest Assistance Ministries, and Woodforest Charitable Foundation are just some of the non-profit organizations that she has supported through the years. She is also a long-standing member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, an international service organization dedicated to helping elevate women and girls for decades. 

As diversity in corporate america becomes more of a challenge, Ms. Jackson recently founded Advancing Women in Cybersecurity (AWIC), which has a mission of “Diversifying Cyber; One Woman at a Time.”   AWIC provides Ms. Jackson with the opportunity to combine her passion of service to the community with cybersecurity by offering guidance and resources to help women and young ladies from underserved communities excel in the cybersecurity industry.
